Job Summary
Full-time Pharmacist to join Rx Drug Mart in Sechelt, BC. Deliver patient-focused clinical services including medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development. Administer vaccines and immunizations. Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions. Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health topics, including indications, contraindications, side effects, and proper usage/storage. Supervise pharmacy students or provisional pharmacists in restricted activities. Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacist
- Injection and OAT certification is required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a team environment
