Job Summary
Pharmacist position at MultiCare Valley Hospital requiring dispensing medications, interpreting IV admixture orders, and preparing nonstandard pharmaceutical preparations. Responsibilities include supervising support personnel, final checks of completed work, inspecting pharmaceutical supplies, and ensuring safe, accurate pharmaceutical care. Preferred ASHP-accredited residency and WA licensure; 1 year pharmacy experience recommended. Night shift with 10-hour shifts; 0.88 FTE. Located in Spokane Valley, WA; on-site hospital environment with emphasis on patient care and collaboration within a team.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington
- Completion of an ASHP accredited pharmacy residency preferred
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacy experience preferred in setting appropriate to work assignment (hospital, retail, clinic or other)
