Job Summary
Fill prescriptions safely accurately. Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members. Motivate team members to perform to their highest level. Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and state/federal laws; provide immunization services where allowed; contribute to patient-centered, high-touch care and community engagement. In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations and support leadership development and career growth within a collaborative, inclusive workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Registered and licensed in the state of practice
- Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
- Retail/Community Practice knowledge
- Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies/procedures
- Understanding of regulatory in the state the unit operates
