Job Summary
Pharmacist responsibilities include medication management to ensure safe, rational, and cost-effective therapy; supervision of distribution and pharmacy staff; medication education for patients and collaboration with healthcare teams; compliance with regulations; and participation in quality, safety, and drug utilization activities. Requires ACPE-accredited degree (BS or PharmD) and active pharmacist license in the practicing state, with acute care experience and potential leadership duties. Familiarity with EPIC EHR and regulatory standards, plus the ability to oversee inventory, safety events, and collaboration with clinicians and patients.
Required Qualifications
- ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) required
- Current pharmacist license in the state(s) where practicing (required)
- Immunization certified (preferred)
- 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting (required)
- 1 year of leadership experience (preferred)
- Experience in field of pharmacy practice (required)
- Graduate of ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (BS or PharmD) required
- Regulatory compliance knowledge
- Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record (preferred)
