Job Summary
The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the pharmacy's operations at Price Chopper in Oneonta, ensuring regulatory compliance and achieving financial goals while supervising staff. Responsibilities include counseling patients and providers on medications, administering immunizations and MTM/wellness programs, maintaining safety and quality standards, managing budgeting, payroll, scheduling, third-party administration, and inventory, and guiding training for pharmacy associates.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and registered Pharmacist in good standing within the state of practice
- Immunization Certification
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be 21 years of age
- Submit to DL Monitoring
- 5-year Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy
- Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and automated dispensing systems
- Ability to communicate effectively: verbal, written and electronic
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage others
- Ability to assign, prioritize, and evaluate the work of others
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
