Job Summary
Receive verbal Rx orders, reduce them to writing in adherence with local laws, and evaluate prescription appropriateness for patient safety. Complete third-party adjudications, coordinate non-sterile compounding and dispensing of drugs, and ensure timely processing and distribution of medications. Supervise Pharmacy Assistants and Technicians to maintain accurate product distribution, protect organizational information, and uphold safety standards. Collaborate effectively with team members and offer direction while setting high performance standards. Requires current Alberta-licensed pharmacist with KROLL Pharmacy software experience.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Pharmacist in good standing in the Province of Alberta
- Experience with KROLL Pharmacy software
- Strong Interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- Ability to work independently, and as a member of a team
- Customer service oriented
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
