Job Summary
Pharmacist for Long Term Care Pharmacy. Responsible for accurate entry and security of orders, supervision of sterile IV products if required, inventory for schedule II drugs, adherence to HIPAA and state regulations, and providing evening/weekend/holiday coverage. Requires leadership to foster continuous quality and service, with a focus on patient safety and efficient dispensing in a fast-paced LTC environment. Shifts Monday–Friday 8am–8pm with every other weekend rotation; on-call 1-2 shifts per week. Anticipated weekly hours around 35; benefits package included.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in Rhode Island, active and in good standing
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy
- DEA and state law knowledge regarding controlled drug dispensing
- Immunization certification or willingness to become immunization certified
