Job Summary
Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely while ensuring adequate inventory levels for patients. Counsel patients on new and additional medications through friendly, proactive interactions and create awareness via public relations events. Provide timely resolutions to patient and doctor requests, review and control costs within the dispensary, and deliver ongoing training to technicians, interns, and students. This role reports to the Pharmacy Manager within Loblaw's Health & Wellness philosophy, supporting community-based marketing strategies and the Blue Culture of Care, Ownership, Respect, and Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy
- Class A Pharmacists license
- Superior customer relations skills
- Strong sense of professionalism
- Excellent leadership and performance management skills
- Proven ability to build the business using community based marketing strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving skills including the experience formulating and executing action plans
- Strong personal computing skills
- Knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy Computer system
- Candidates who are 18 years or older
