Job Summary
Pharmacist Lead- BioPlus at BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy (Elevance Health family) with hybrid work arrangement; lead clinical strategy, operational leadership, and cross-functional alignment, mentoring pharmacists and supervising non-clinical staff to maximize facility production while ensuring regulatory compliance and cost-effective drug use. Develop and oversee clinical programs to improve patient outcomes, medication adherence, and quality performance; coordinate enterprise-wide specialty pharmacy initiatives across clinical operations, payer strategy, quality, and technology; drive governance, executive reporting, and performance reviews; partner with medical, pharmacy, and population health leaders to implement evidence-based care models; supervise staffing models and drive enterprise transformation projects. Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy, a minimum of 3 years of mail-service/pharmacy operations experience, active RPH license, and willingness to work in a hybrid setup with regular onsite presence; location specified as Lake Mary, Florida with a Hybrid remote option.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Pharmacy
- minimum of 3 years of experience in mail service operations related pharmacy experience
- Current valid active unrestricted RPH license to practice pharmacy in applicable states
- Hybrid/office-based work arrangement requiring in-office presence 1-2 days per week
- Ability to operate within URAC accredited areas (competencies in communication, problem-solving, facilitation, analytics)
- Must be located in a state or territory of the United States when conducting utilization review or an appeals consideration (unless specified otherwise)
