Job Summary
Interprets and evaluates medication orders, ensures accuracy, and prepares and dispenses medications to patients. Responsible for reviewing medication profiles, assisting in drug therapy problem resolution, and participating in medical rounds. Consults with healthcare providers on drug utilization and maintains departmental standards for safety and infection control. Engages in inventory control, compounding, and training of pharmacy interns and technicians, while documenting clinical activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
- New Mexico Board of Pharmacy License
- Less than one year experience in pharmacy practice

- Experience in pharmacy practice
- Skills acquired through experience or self-study
