Pharmacist -Inpatient Relief - Verde Valley Medical Center - Cottonwood

Conduct clinical services to optimize drug therapy, including pharmacokinetic dosing consults, total parenteral nutrition management, and antimicrobial stewardship. Provide medication therapy management using protocols for therapeutic drug monitoring, advise physicians on formulary medications, and dispense oral medications and IV solutions. Identify and prevent adverse drug reactions, investigate medication errors, and provide direct patient counseling and drug information to physicians and nurses. Participate in code arrest responses, review physician orders for incompatibilities, and process patient charges while maintaining basic drug supplies. Adhere to regulatory standards, report safety incidents, and supervise supportive personnel in a 24-hour inpatient pharmacy environment.
