Pharmacist - Infusion Center

Review all new medication orders and reconcile home medications at the point of verification. Triage work to minimize order turn-around time and treatment delays while accurately verifying and dispensing orders. Use Electronic Health Record (EHR) tools and Clinical Decision Support (CDS) to screen for potential errors, escalate drug interactions, and correct adverse drug events. Document interventions, notes, and allergies properly, ensuring controlled substances are handled per federal, state, and local regulations. Manage inventory levels for Automated Dispensing Cabinets and anesthesia workstations, maintaining logs for temperature monitoring and sterile compounding compliance. Assist with staff training and development as assigned.
