Job Summary
Oversee the clinical, operational, regulatory, and financial performance of the pharmacy as the designated Pharmacist in Charge. Ensure full compliance with state and federal laws, manage controlled substance inventory, and maintain inspection readiness. Direct daily workflow, staffing, and scheduling while optimizing operational efficiency and monitoring key performance indicators. Lead immunization programs, provide patient counseling, and drive revenue growth through strategic service line development and community outreach. Maintain financial accountability via payroll management and cost controls, serving as the primary license holder for all pharmacy operations.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
- Eligible to serve as Pharmacist in Charge per state regulations.
- Immunization certification.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy management system and third party billing.
- Minimum 3-5 years of retail pharmacy experience
- Standing for extended periods
- Lifting up to 20 pounds
- Ability to manage a fast paced retail healthcare environment
