Job Summary
Pharmacist-in-Charge leading daily operations of a retail pharmacy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, FWA, and state/federal laws; provides patient-focused pharmacy consulting, medication usage guidance, and coordination with prescribers. Requires PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy, active SC pharmacist license, immunization certification, 3+ years of pharmacy management experience, and ability to supervise pharmacists, technicians, and staff. Responsibilities include overseeing patient profiles and refills, prior authorizations, copay enrollment, staff leadership, and cross-location coordination; travel to other HopeHealth locations as needed. Emphasizes empathy, accuracy, change management, and excellent customer service in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D
- Active Pharmacist license with SC Board of Pharmacy
- Immunization Certification through APhA
- 3+ years of pharmacy management experience
- Specialty pharmacy experience preferred
- Experience with PioneerRx Software preferred
- Experience with ECW preferred
