Job Summary
Dispense prescriptions, compound medications, and sell pharmaceuticals while reviewing incoming orders for accuracy and appropriate dosing. Manage medication safety, maintain accurate patient records, and educate customers on drug storage and potential side effects. Ensure pharmacy compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by eliminating misbranded drugs, securing the dispensing area, and verifying licensed staff coverage. Eliminate outdated or improperly labeled stock and maintain proper drug storage conditions to prevent deterioration. Maintain professional license status through continuing education and issue notices regarding pharmacy laws to employees. Operate Monday through Friday in a full-time, 40-hour schedule with bi-weekly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a current state pharmacist license or degree
- A Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy)
- Equivalent Degree or highest education (Rph)
- Bilingual Spanish Speaker, Required
- Are classified as an exempt employee
- Monday-Friday
- Full Time
- 40 hours
