Job Summary
Lead pharmacy operations and serve as the Compliance Officer by supervising pharmacists, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving operational excellence. Directly oversee production goals, assist in investigations, and monitor training and licenses while performing routine duties such as dispensing medications, educating patients, and advising physicians on drug selection and interactions. Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures, manage payor optimization initiatives, and evaluate performance against targets to ensure profitability. Support order verification, review batch records, and enforce aseptic behaviors to maintain safe work environments. Represent the pharmacy in state and federal audits, conduct fraud awareness reviews, audit billing records quarterly, and investigate suspicious activity.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Pharmacist License in good standing
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of (2) years of experience as a pharmacist preferred
- Previous pharmacy management or supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
