Job Summary
Pharmacist II role supervising the operation of the designated registered pharmacy at the County Health facility, including training and supervision of staff, development and administration of pharmacy procedures, and distribution of all drugs to patients. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for appropriateness, maintaining records, supervising purchasing, ensuring compliance with federal/state/local regulations, conducting in-service education, and serving as a pharmaceutical consultant to administrators and clinicians. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, two years of licensed pharmacist experience, and the ability to supervise and coordinate pharmaceutical services while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an institution with federal accreditation or NY State registration
- Two years of experience as a Licensed Pharmacist
