Pharmacist

Process prescriptions by conducting prospective drug reviews, assessing medications to prevent and resolve drug-related problems, and ensuring accurate compounding and dispensing. Provide accurate drug information to healthcare professionals and patients while collaborating on therapy management and documenting intervention outcomes. Assist in department management by supervising pharmacy technicians and students, overseeing inventory maintenance, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations for controlled substances. Participate in performance improvement efforts and maintain a safe, orderly work environment. If serving as Night Pharmacist, triage nightly activities, resolve medication problems between disciplines, and troubleshoot automation issues.
