Job Summary
Pharmacist Go Live Specialist for MEDITECH Expanse go-live deployments across HCA Healthcare facilities. Role involves extensive nationwide travel, onsite go-live support, end-user training, and collaboration with project teams to ensure successful MEDITECH deployment and user adoption. Key duties include facilitating workflow decisions, providing at-the-elbow support during activation events, supporting inpatient pharmacy workflows (verification, dispensing, IV processes, automated dispensing systems), troubleshooting, issue triage, and documenting resolutions. Requires active pharmacist license, recent inpatient pharmacy experience, MEDITECH-related experience preferred, and availability for night shifts during go-live periods.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S.-based Pharmacist license in good standing
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university
- Recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Inpatient medication workflows experience (order verification, dispensing, IV workflows)
- Experience with EHR environments; MEDITECH experience preferred but not required
