Job Summary
Pharmacist responsible for distributive and clinical pharmacy activities supporting home infusion therapies; supervises pharmacy staff in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager; coordinates drug preparation, sterile products, dispensing, and clinical services; collaborates with nursing, customer service, and distribution; provides drug information and therapeutic monitoring, and ensures compliance with URAC/ACHC accreditation and Board of Pharmacy requirements; participates in QA, reporting, and regulatory documentation; performs on-site duties in a CSI Pharmacy setting in Tampa, FL with multiple listed locations; requires Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent and active state licensure; 2+ years acute-care or 1-year home infusion experience; expects strong collaboration and communication with healthcare professionals; travel not specified beyond routine worksite duties; drug-screen and background process noted; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (Doctor of Pharmacy or Master of Science desirable)
- Currently licensed as a registered pharmacist in the state of employment
- Minimum two years recent experience in an acute-care setting or one-year recent experience in home infusion therapy
- Experience and strong knowledge in intravenous admixture services and IV therapy
- Ability to work with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective drug therapy
- Participation and membership in professional societies desirable
