Pharmacist - Full Time -

Staff Pharmacist responsible for dispensing prescription medications, performing initial/clinical verification, ensuring DEA-compliant inventory, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Core duties include initial review and verification of medications, final verification of filled prescriptions, controlled medication inventory, using MedBank/Pyxis Medbank, daily stock checks, communication with facilities/prescribers, managing workflow to ensure timely dispensing, compounding as needed (sterile and non-sterile), handling telephone orders, assisting technicians, and maintaining a clean, compliant workstation. Schedule involves approximately 40 hours per week with rotating weekends; requires ability to lift up to 20 pounds and operate in a pharmacy setting.
