Job Summary
Provide fast, friendly, and professional service in the pharmacy dispensary and OTC sales area while maintaining positive relationships with staff and guests. Lead clinical services by managing disease states, conducting medication reviews, and initiating care plans. Prioritize prescription safety, identify drug-related problems, and ensure patient counseling for new therapies. Support management in inventory control and execute the store's loss prevention program. Ensure compliance with company standards, Health & Safety programs, and provincial regulations. Maintain open availability seven days a week to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, and late evenings, with occasional travel to other locations as business needs arise.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Licensed Pharmacist in British Columbia
- Injection Certification
- Minimum 2 years in a Canadian Retail Pharmacy
- Minimum 1 year Kroll computer software system experience
- Class 5 Driver's License and clean abstract
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and the ability to manage computer files and systems efficiently
- Effective interpersonal, leadership and communications skills
- Motivation and ability to work in a busy environment
- Effective planning, organization and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate the ability to maintain relationships outside of the organization that support the organization
- Must have open availability 7 days a week to work a variety of shifts at our various food stores, that include early mornings, afternoons and late evenings
- Must be able to travel and work at other locations as business needs arise
- Must be able to undergo a background check
