Pharmacist (Floating)

Job Summary
Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals, educate customers on health promotion and proper medicine use, and sell non-prescription items while maximizing sales and profits. Provide efficient patient counseling, fill and evaluate prescriptions for accuracy and legality, and make or mix compounded prescriptions as needed. Direct department associates during manager absences, train staff, and maintain high inventory levels by managing ordering processes and inspecting product quality. Ensure compliance with all operating policies, safety procedures, and loss prevention guidelines while maintaining a clean work area. Operate cash registers during breaks and complete all required paperwork and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active state-issued Pharmacist license
- Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
- Ability to attend on-site work during normal business hours, in the typical work week, as well as extra time as needed to fulfill job duties through regular attendance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a retail pharmacy environment, preferred
