Job Summary
Pharmacist sought to interpret medication orders, prepare sterile products using aseptic technique, manage hazardous medications per USP 800, safely dispense medications, provide clinical consultation and evidence-based therapy recommendations, and support quality-improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include implementing clinical pharmacy services, documenting activities, participating in inter-professional committees, contributing to treatment guidelines and formulary changes, delivering drug information and education to staff and patients, and training the pharmacy team. Requires hospital/pharmacy experience and NY license; BLS, PALS, ACLS certifications; PharmD/BS Pharmacy or equivalent. Located in New York, NY with in-person work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, Pharm D or equivalent foreign graduate degree, required
- Minimum of one (1) year of hospital work, experience, required
- Current license and registration to practice as a pharmacist in New York State, required
- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certification, required
