Job Summary
Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe medication use and high-quality patient outcomes in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Contribute to development and enforcement of pharmacy policies and procedures compliant with Joint Commission and other regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to leverage medication management for positive patient outcomes, perform accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications, and provide independent clinical judgment and leadership in a hospital pharmacy environment.
Required Qualifications
- State pharmacy board licensure in good standing, for the state in which the hospital is located.
- Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
