Job Summary
Overseeing daily pharmacy operations and contributing to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities include accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in adherence to legal and professional standards; active participation in an interdisciplinary team; and exercising independent judgment to meet patient care objectives. The role supports policy and clinical service development, aligns with Joint Commission and regulatory requirements, and involves making crucial management decisions and recommendations to optimize medication management and patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- State pharmacy board licensure in good standing, for the state in which the hospital is located.
- Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
