Job Summary
Overseeing daily pharmacy operations, contributing to development of pharmacy policies and procedures, and participating in interdisciplinary care to support patient outcomes in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsible for accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medications in accordance with legal and professional standards, exercising independent judgment, and leveraging pharmaceutical expertise to shape clinical services and medication management. Collaboration with the care team to ensure safe medication use, policy adherence, and continuous improvement of rehabilitative pharmaceutical care. Includes opportunities for professional growth and involvement in policy development within a rapidly expanding inpatient rehabilitation organization.
Required Qualifications
- State pharmacy board licensure in good standing, for the state in which the hospital is located
- Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
