Job Summary
Oversee daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations, ensuring safe medication use through accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing in adherence to legal standards. Contribute to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures while actively participating in interdisciplinary teams to leverage critical information for positive patient outcomes. Exercise independent judgment to make crucial management decisions and recommendations that shape clinical services and integrate medication management into rehabilitative care.
Required Qualifications
- State pharmacy board licensure in good standing, for the state in which the hospital is located.
- Completion of a degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
