Job Summary
Conduct active participation in code blue events to provide immediate medication recommendations and clinical expertise. Respond to inquiries from physicians and nursing staff while completing patient consults as needed. Deliver therapeutic guidance and support interdisciplinary teams within a hospital setting. Requires a minimum of two years of hospital experience, an active Arizona Pharmacy License, and Cerner and Omnicell system proficiency. Includes a 13-week contract from Monday through Friday with guaranteed 36 hours at $2000 weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Active Arizona Pharmacy License (AZ State Board)
- ACLS & BLS certifications
- Cerner experience
- Omnicell experience
- Ability to attend code blues and provide medication recommendations
- Ability to answer provider/nurse questions and complete consults
- At least 1 year of recent hospital experience
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certification and/or Accredited Pharmacy Residency
- Strong clinical communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
