Job Summary
Pharmacist (Contractor) responsible for IP/NIP operations including receipt, storage, labeling, preparation (sterile when required), dispensing, shipping, inventory control, and accountability; act as the qualified person/pharmacist in study document approval and IP release; perform quality reviews of pharmacy docs (IP/NIP labels, API, inventory, manuals); may act as QPIC/AQPIC for controlled substances and maintain inventory; participate in sponsor/regulatory audits and protocol reviews; ensure blinding and randomization when handling IPs; coordinate training on dosing procedures; maintain confidentiality of participants and sponsors; collaborate with teams, maintain logs (temperature, cleaning, calibration), and communicate issues to supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Degree from Accredited School of Pharmacy
- Licensed pharmacist in good standing with pharmacy state/province board
- Microsoft suite, strong computer literacy
- Compounding and aseptic technique
- Language(s) Skills: English/French bilingual for Canadian locations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to develop strong trusting relationships
- Self-directed, motivated, initiative to identify and address client needs
