Job Summary
Casual part-time Pharmacist position in Edmonton, AB focused on continuing care clinical services within a Safeway/Sobeys pharmacy. Responsibilities include patient-centered care, disease state management, medication reviews, full scope of practice, documentation, education to nursing staff, collaboration with Nurses/Physicians/Nurse Practitioners, risk and error audits, and adherence to regulatory programs and corporate pharmacy services. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and active licensure in the province, injection and First Aid Certification, and may prefer additional certifications and familiarity with Kroll software. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution
- Licensed Pharmacist, in good standing, in the province of responsibility
- Injection and First Aid Certification
- Additional certifications (e.g. Certified Geriatric Pharmacist, Advance Prescribing)
- Kroll software experience is preferred
