Job Summary
Pharmacist Consultant - CarelonRx Call Center provides drug-therapy evaluation and consultation for program participants, reviewing medication history to assess appropriateness, evaluating member adherence, counseling physicians on alternative medications when needed, and supporting disease management with the clinical team. Requires BA/BS in Pharmacy with at least 2 years of clinical experience and an active pharmacist license; PharmD preferred and direct patient counseling experience is a plus. The role is hybrid/virtual with mandatory in-person training and onboarding, with potential onsite time weekly depending on policy and location. Vaccination for COVID-19 and Influenza may be required for certain patient-facing roles.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Pharmacy
- minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
- Current unrestricted Pharmacist license in applicable state(s)
- PharmD preferred
- Experience with direct patient counseling or education preferred
Additional Requirements
- Vaccination required for COVID-19 and Influenza for certain patient/member-facing roles
