Job Summary
Pharmacist role focusing on infusion and compounding for pediatric patients. Responsibilities include reviewing, verifying, and dispensing infusion and compounded IV medications; ensuring sterile preparation, accurate labeling, and timely dispensing; conducting clinical assessments to optimize therapy; collaborating with physicians, nurses, billing, and customer service on admissions and ongoing care; assisting with therapeutic drug monitoring, dosing recommendations, and lab interpretation; overseeing pharmacy technicians and compounding workflows; maintaining compliance with State Board of Pharmacy regulations, federal guidelines, and PHS policies; documenting activities in patient records; supporting SOPs and quality initiatives; providing training and mentorship; maintaining knowledge of infusion pumps and home infusion devices. Qualifications include a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and an active license; preferred experience in home infusion, sterile compounding, and pediatric care with strong organizational and communication skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (or PharmD)
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the state of practice
