Pharmacist

Coordinate drug distribution and pharmacy activities for the health center, ensuring safe and efficient methods for coordination of established pharmacy policy concerning drug patient care, 340B compliance, and providing clinical drug information. Review and interpret providers' orders for appropriateness, counsel patients about medications, and maintain accurate patient profiles while performing data entry, inventory, stocking, dispensing, and reporting. Verify work performed by support personnel, ensure adherence to all State & Federal laws and regulations, and participate in clinical programs including drug-level monitoring, antibiotic monitoring, administering vaccines, and medication therapy management. Indirectly supervise technicians when a pharmacy manager is not present.
