Job Summary
Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients on medications; supervise pharmacy technicians with the pharmacist assuming final responsibility; maintain and review records per OBRA and HIPAA; ensure confidentiality and regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, OSHA); oversee the clinic formulary and pharmacy inventory; manage narcotics control and staff education; coordinate medication orders and provide drug information to medical staff;-focused on multi-tasking, time management, and professional conduct in a clinic pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy, Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited school or college of pharmacy
- Idaho Pharmacist License
- Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass a background check
- Experience in retail pharmacy
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Evidence of no communicable disease
- Preferred: Ability to read, speak, and write English/Spanish; Experience with 340b eligibility inventory management; Familiarity with PioneerRx and Athena
