Job Summary
Staff Pharmacist responsible for the overall operation and direction of St. John’s centralized and decentralized pharmacy model across multiple California locations; oversees workflows, space and systems to meet operational requirements; provides training and supervision to Pharmacy Technicians, Clerks, and PAP Clerks; maintains inventories and uses pharmacy software to enter prescription orders, determine substitutions, fill prescriptions, and perform QA; counsels patients on new prescriptions and provides educational materials; collaborates with Clinic Director and Managers to ensure secure drug storage and compliance with 340b and HRSA rules; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist in California
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy
- Experience with pharmacy management systems
