Job Summary
Pharmacist Clinical - PRN role focusing on safe, effective pharmacotherapy through accurate dispensing, patient counseling, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, counseling patients and families on proper use and adherence, collaborating with physicians and nurses, developing and implementing clinical protocols and guidelines, monitoring outcomes, documenting interventions in the EHR, participating in quality improvement initiatives, maintaining inventory, and staying current with pharmacotherapy advances.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is required
- 0-1 years of hospital or retail pharmacy experience required
- RPH - Registered Pharmacist license in state of employment required
