Job Summary
Pharmacist needed for a full-time contract at Bayshore Medical Personnel in Greenwood, NS. Responsibilities include compounding, dispensing and prescribing pharmaceuticals, and providing pharmaceutical expert services to patients and other health care providers in a clinic setting. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule with day shifts only (no nights or weekends) serving an exceptional patient population. Candidates must have at least 3 years of direct patient care experience in clinical or community pharmacy within the last 5 years, hold a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, be PEBC registered ( Québec exceptions apply), possess BLS/CPR-AED Level C certification, and hold provincial/territorial licensure. Onboarding will coordinate additional certifications (N95 fit, WHMIS) as required. Benefits include daytime hours, no on-call, hourly pay, and medical/dental benefits for eligible employees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Pharmacy from a Canadian university accredited by CCAPP (or foreign-equivalent meeting provincial licensure requirements)
- National board examination through the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (excluding Québec)
- Certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or CPR/AED Level C
- Registration and license from the provincial/territorial regulatory body in the province of practice
- N95 mask fit certificate CSA Standards Z94.4 (within 2 years)
- WHMIS certification (within 2 years)
