Pharmacist

Review and validate all medication orders for clinical appropriateness, screening for interactions and resolving issues with prescribers. Accurately compound specialized sterile and non-sterile medications, ensuring correct dispensing, labeling, and inventory control. Provide expert pharmacotherapy information to providers and conduct focused consultations for patients on high-risk regimens to optimize adherence. Participate in rounds and committees, develop patient-specific medication plans, and perform medication reconciliation upon admission and discharge. Supervise technicians to ensure quality control and regulatory compliance while mentoring students and residents. Manage various operational areas including central, satellite, and specialty services. Work night shifts from 9pm to 7:30am, seven nights a week, for 35 hours weekly.
