Job Summary
Dispense and verify medications as prescribed by healthcare providers while educating patients on proper usage, interactions, and storage. Review medication therapy for safety and support pharmacy compliance standards through close collaboration with medical staff. This contract position covers outpatient and inpatient settings across Polacca, Parker, and Peach Springs, Arizona, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 4:30pm. Candidates must hold an active unrestricted license and a pharmacy degree, with at least one year of experience preferred. Adelphi offers a long-term contract opportunity for qualified pharmacists.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of ACPE accredited college with a baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and/or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
- Active unrestricted license in any State or U.S Territory
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year pharmacist experience preferred
