Job Summary
Dispense and verify medications while educating patients on prescriptions, usage, interactions, and storage. Review medication therapy for safety and support pharmacy compliance standards. Work closely with medical staff to ensure accurate care delivery. This outpatient and inpatient contract role at Adelphi Medical Center in Winterhaven, California, offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8am to 4:30pm with a potential for long-term engagement. Candidates must hold an active unrestricted license and a pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of ACPE accredited college with a baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and/or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
- Active unrestricted license in any State or U.S Territory
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year pharmacist experience preferred
