Pharmacist (81337)

Optimize medication use, conduct clinical monitoring, and manage drug distribution services for patients. Compound and dispense medications based on authorized prescriber orders while instructing patients on drug interactions. Review patient medication histories to identify allergies, drug interactions, duplicate therapies, and safety concerns. Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians and other support personnel. Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Pharmacy, licensure as a Registered Pharmacist eligible to practice in North Carolina, and one year of inpatient or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred. Reports to the Director of Pharmacy.
