Job Summary
Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients, educating them on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options. Deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management. Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance while mentoring pharmacy team members. Maintain current pharmacist licensure and certification as an immunizer within 90 days of hire. Work in a collaborative environment supporting team members and navigating challenges from insurance claims to complex medication management.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
- Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
- At least 1 year experience as a pharmacist in a retail setting including prescription filling and verification, records and legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance.
