Job Summary
Process prescriptions accurately, counsel patients on medication needs, and administer immunizations while maintaining strict confidentiality and controlled substance documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service techniques, resolving concerns, and guiding associates on compliance with company policies and legal regulations. Analyze operational data to identify improvement opportunities, oversee safety controls, and implement action plans that enhance patient care quality and cost savings. Engage in community outreach events and Wellness Days to support local health initiatives, adapting your clinical expertise to diverse patient backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
