Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care by processing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining confidential records. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service techniques, enforcing compliance with company policies, and guiding associates through operational procedures. Analyze data and community health concerns to develop action plans that improve patient safety, reduce errors, and drive cost savings for patients. Ensure strict adherence to state and federal regulations, including loss prevention and safety controls, while fostering relationships with diverse patient backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
