Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care by processing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining strict confidentiality and controlled substance documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling customer service techniques, enforcing compliance with legal policies, and guiding associates through operational improvements and safety protocols. Utilize data, tools, and personal conversations to understand community health concerns, manage inventory for cost savings, and execute action plans that align with business priorities and patient safety goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
