Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, counseling customers on medication needs, and administering immunizations while maintaining confidential information and controlled medication documentation. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling proper customer service approaches, enforcing compliance with company policies, and guiding associates on resolving concerns within established guidelines. Ensure operational safety and quality by overseeing safety reviews, implementing loss prevention controls, and developing action plans to improve team knowledge and focus on patient safety. Utilize data and personal conversations to understand community health concerns and stay current on emergent issues, while advocating for patient-centered care across diverse backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
