Job Summary
Process prescriptions, administer immunizations, and provide comprehensive patient counseling while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance with federal and state regulations. Lead pharmacy staff by modeling customer service techniques, enforcing company policies, and guiding associates through operational challenges and safety protocols. Analyze inventory data, monitor loss prevention controls, and develop action plans to improve quality assurance and reduce errors. Manage community outreach initiatives and Wellness Days to address local health concerns. This Staff Pharmacist role at Walmart's Thief River Falls location requires a PharmD or equivalent degree with an active license and ACPE-accredited immunization training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP)
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date)
- Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored)
