Job Summary

Verify and dispense medication orders, perform drug interaction and allergy screenings, and provide direct patient counseling on indications, side effects, and adherence strategies. Prepare and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding, including IV admixtures, following USP standards. Conduct medication reconciliation at transitions of care, support formulary management, and serve as a drug information resource for providers. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, medication safety reviews, and regulatory compliance reporting. Contribute to clinical protocol development, precept pharmacy students, and support staff education.
