Pharmaceutical Sales Representative - Southeast Michigan

Job Summary
Drive territory sales and market share growth for COPD, asthma, and anti-infective products through compliant, face-to-face engagements with physicians and allied health professionals. Own territory business planning by analyzing sales data, executing actions to meet goals, and developing call plans with local colleagues. Build partnerships with Marketing, Payer Relations, and Medical teams to align strategy, while delivering in-services, educational programs, and sample distribution per FDA regulations. Complete administrative duties including sample accountability, call reporting, and expense management while adhering to all regulatory requirements. This internal role supports GSK's mission to deliver life-changing vaccines and specialty medicines across Southeast Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS from an accredited institution
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel within the territory, including occasional overnight and weekend travel, based on business needs
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales experience
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical or business-to-business sales experience
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual preferred based on location
- Account management experience within local IDNs/large hospital systems
- Experience in respiratory/allergy or other healthcare sales
- Familiarity with managed care, formularies, retail pharmacy operations, prior authorization processes
- Strong presentation, influencing and business planning skills
